REV. CANON SEGUN AGBETUYI
Chairman

An alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Canon Agbetuyi was the Managing Director/CEO of Omegabank Plc from 1993 until the birth of Spring Bank Plc. He obtained his technical and management training within the network of Bank of Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
Before his last appointment at Omegabank Plc, he was for five years the Deputy Managing Director of Nigerian American Merchant Bank Limited (NAMBL), where he worked for 12 years.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of London and Nigeria; Fellow of the Institute of Management Specialists, England; Member of the Institute of Directors in England and Nigeria; Member of the American Management Associations and Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants in Nigeria. He holds a Doctor of Science Degree in Economics (Honoris Causa) of the University of Ado-Ekiti. He is also an ordained Priest of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion).
Mr. MIKE CHUKWU
Managing Director / CEO

Mike Chukwu was for four years, the Managing Director / CEO of the former Guardian Express Bank Plc. Before then, he had served as Deputy Vice President (Investment Banking) at First Atlantic Bank where his job function spanned Treasury, Corporate Finance, Private Banking and Internet Banking.
It was under his charge at First Atlantic that Internet Banking was first deployed in Nigeria. He began his career in banking at the Fidelity Bank as the Assistant Financial Controller. He was the pioneer Financial Controller, Citizens International Bank Plc and has served in key management positions in First City Monument Bank and United Bank for Africa.
Prior to the beginning of his banking career in 1989, Chukwu had trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the high-brow firm of Price Waterhouse, where for four years he was involved in multi-disciplinary assignments in consulting, auditing and taxation. He was the First Prize Award Winner in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) Foundation Examinations of November 1986 and was admitted Fellow of the Institute in 1998. He holds a first degree in Political Science and lectures regularly in the programmes of the Financial Institutions Training Centre (FITC) and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN). He also holds the professional membership of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, the Nigerian Institute of Management and the Institute of Directors (IOD). |
